Description: INTRODUCTION

Continued pressure to reduce cost and improve spending visibility and control are fuelling sourcing revolution among mid-size enterprises.

India due to its geographical location, huge quality manpower and quality production, is gradually becoming a global hub for the sourcing activity. Quality manufacturing, be it auto, auto components, textiles, garments, handicrafts, etc, are to name few, towards which world is looking towards India.

METHODOLOGY

- Target companies who intend to or buying from India, preferably SMEs’

- Explain the customers abroad the business tourism concept

- Get the information about people travelling India and their frequency

- Update the customers abroad about the tie ups and advantages in India

- A 3 point offer can be offered to the customers –

· CBTS (Comprehensive Business Tourism Support)
· SBTS (Semi Business Tourism Support)
· CrBTS (Corporate Group Business Tourism Support)


OFFER

The concept will work on the 3-point offer –

CBTS (Comprehensive Business Tourism Support) -

- Identify the SMEs’ who buys or want to buy from India (Product specific)

- Get the information regarding the product and the related requirement from the co.

- Float that information to India to the concern product handling team

- Study by the team and revert back to marketing department

- Marketing department make an offer to the customer

Offer to the customer includes –

- If that product is feasible to be sourced from India or not
- The vendor base of the product in India
- Cost of the package

- If the customer satisfied and agrees, itinerary should be prepared by the marketing department in consent with the customer and the product handling team in India

Itinerary to show –

- Organize India day in the customer company
- India day will give the customer information about the places to visit India, people, culture, food habits, do’s and don’t’s, nearest tourist spots, place of stay, heritage, industry setup, why there only these industries set up, major industrialists
- How these arrangements will be coordinated
- Who will coordinate these arrangement
- How and when the supplier visits will be organized
- Technical escorts, if required by customer, during supplier visits


SBTS (Semi Comprehensive Business Tourism Support) -

- Identify the SMEs’ who buys or want to buy from India (Product specific)

- Get the details from the customer for the place of visit in India

- Marketing department makes the offer to the customer

- If the customer satisfied and agrees, itinerary should be prepared by the marketing department in consent with the customer

- If the customer satisfied and agrees, itinerary should be prepared by the marketing department in consent with the customer and the product handling team in India

- Itinerary to show –

· Organize India day in the customer company
· India day will give the customer information about the places to visit India, people, culture, food habits, do’s and don’t’s, nearest tourist spots, place of stay, heritage, industry setup, why there only these industries set up, major industrialists
· How these arrangements will be coordinated
· Who will coordinate these arrangement
· Technical escorts, if required by customer, during supplier visits on chargeable basis (Optional)


CrBTS (Corporate Group Business Tourism Support) -

CrBTS will offer a complete package to a group of Corporate to visit the Industrial Hubs of India

- Identify the SMEs’ who buys or want to buy from India (Industry specific)

- Get the information regarding the product and the related requirement from the co.

- Float that information to India to the concern product handling team

- Study by the team and revert back to marketing department

- Marketing department make an offer to the customer
