Coffee & Alcohol
|Description:||I came up with an idea that I am bouncing around after pouring a coffee liquer into my hot cup of coffee and was pleasantly surprised at the resulting flavour. Since then I have been looking around at various websites and it would appear there are many recipes for mixing different alcoholic beverages with coffee, tea and hot chocolate (e.g. mixing brandy or rum with coffee, or creme de menthe with hot chocolate).
Further examples are available at:
Hot Coffee Recipes - Alcoholic
Hot Coffee Recipes with Alcohol
There are many more websites with recipes.
The idea is this:
In a similar vein to coffee shop chains (e.g. Costa Coffee, Cafe Nero, etc) people can visit the coffee lounge of an evening and enjoy a hot cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate. The difference being that these hot beverages contain alcohol. An alternative to bars and pubs, it would be a relaxing place to unwind in the evenings in a cafe like setting, with a hot alcoholic drink, (potentially) live music and a slice of cake.

|This is currently just an idea, but would be interested in talking to anybody about making this a reality (assuming the business is viable).
So what do people think? Does it sound viable? Does anything like this exist already?
